Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU)

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is needed by children who get relatively more sick. In general, when a child needs oxygen, he is labelled as needing PICU. At Southern Gem hospital, all the rooms have capacity to give oxygen to the patients. Along with Dr Nitesh Agarwal, Dr Ankur Agarwal is the Pediatric Intensivist at Southern Gem Hospital. A large number of these kids are treated within our premises. However, if they need further higher treatment such as pediatric ventilator, they are shifted to other facilities, in consultation with the family.
