Dr. Sweta Agarwal heads the fertility and gynaecology department at both branches of Southern Gem Hospitals, Hyderabad. She has been a fertility specialist and gynaecologist for 20 years. Her expertise in fertility treatment has helped her make 6000 + infertility couples experience the joy of parenthood. She is an alumnus of Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad. She is a prominent fertility specialist in Hyderabad with immense international experience of over 7 years from world renowned Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne and King Edward Memorial Hospital, Perth. She was also a consultant fertility specialist and A/Medical Director at PIVET Medical Centre, Perth for 3 years. PIVET Medical Centre boasts of giving Western Australia its first IVF baby.
Southern Gem Hospital was established on her return to India in 2012. She has won many accolades for her pioneering fertility work, so much so that she was awarded with the National Hall of Fame for fertility treatment in 2019. Apart from her vast clinical work, she is also widely recognised for her stellar research work and is adored by her gynaecologist students whom she trains in fertility treatment procedures and hysteroscopy.
In addition to fertility treatment, she also does general and laparoscopic gynaecology and high risk obstetrics.
